What You’ll Do
As Production Manager, you’ll lead our jewelry production team and ensure our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with uncompromising quality. You’ll be the strategic force behind our production metrics, process improvements, and team development—working cross-functionally to align production with customer demand and brand vision.
Key Responsibilities
Production Leadership
- Monitor and optimize production metrics (output, cycle time, quality rates)
- Identify bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing techniques
- Oversee quality control across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Manage inventory in coordination with Supply Chain
- Develop and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance
- Conduct time studies and remove workflow obstacles
- Align production schedules with product launches and order deadlines
- Maintain accurate records and report progress to leadership
Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of skilled makers
- Conduct biweekly one-on-ones and provide ongoing feedback
- Facilitate weekly team meetings and communicate updates
- Partner with Senior Makers to train new hires and refine processes
- Hire and onboard new team members with care and clarity
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and energized work environment
What You Bring
Required
- 5+ years in a production management role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to lead and motivate production teams
Preferred
- Experience in jewelry or small-batch manufacturing
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools
- Certifications in manufacturing or process improvement
