We are accepting applications for the Part-Time Shop Personnel position with Eau Claire Transit. Duties include: performing minor mechanical work; cleaning and fueling transit vehicles; and providing support to the transit shop operations.

Requirements:

• Possess or obtain (within 30 days of hire) a valid Wisconsin driver's license.
• Possess or obtain (within 90 days of hire) and maintain a Wisconsin Class B CDL with no air brake restrictions and P endorsement
  • We will provide the successful candidate with training to obtain the required license and endorsements, if needed.
• Ability to perform minor mechanical work
• A basic set of hand tools.

Typical Schedule: 16 hours per week, Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. to midnight and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Wage Rate: $24.72 per hour, plus prorated fringe benefits.
