Landscape Technician

We are currently accepting applications for a Landscape Technician position in the Parks Division of our Community Services Department. Duties include: general maintenance, maintaining and operating the irrigation systems; establishing and maintaining native plant areas; performing custodial duties for buildings and restrooms as needed; and more!
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Possess or obtain (within 6 months of hire) and maintain a valid Class B CDL with no air brake restrictions.
- Possess or obtain (within 90 days of hire) and maintain Commercial Pesticide Applicator 3.0 Turf and Landscape Certification
- Technical knowledge in the area of ornamental horticulture relating to the care and management of herbaceous and woody plant material, turf maintenance, pesticide use and application with thorough knowledge of irrigation systems of operations and repair.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An associate degree in a related field.
