Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Offer assistance to all employees in a friendly and confidential environment 
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations 
  • Communicates any job changes effectively with HR Administrator, as well as any outside contacts (Insurance, 401K, etc) 
  • Assist with enrollment questions for benefits for new hires and during open enrollment 
  • Assure that training records are accurate and up to date for all employees 
  • Provides support and data for audits (401K, EEOC) 
  • Assists with organization of and participates in company events 
  • May assist with hiring process such as tracking, job ads, and phone interviews 
  • Assists with the onboarding process for new hires including paperwork, I9 verification, drug tests, security doors access, and vending. 
  • Data entry to the payroll for both hourly and salaried employees. 
  • Provide support for the Human Resource Department. 
  • Respond to agencies needing employee information. 
  • Training coordinator for all employees 
  • Record keeping in HRIS 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills: 

Experience: Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Paycom experience preferred, 2-4 years of Human Resource Experience

Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience, SHRM-CP or PHR preferred 

Competencies & Skills: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills 
  • Detail orientated and organized 
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask 
  • Be flexible and responsive to needs of the organization 
  • Preferred bi-lingual in Hmong/English
