Metropolis Resort is currently accepting applications for our hotel utility/laundry position! Our hotel utility and laundry team plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations and overall cleanliness of the hotel and the connecting parks. The ideal candidate enjoys cleaning, is self motivated, and detail-orientated.

The hours for this position will primarily be Friday-Sunday, 4-11pm. Hired candidates may also work the morning shift which is 8-4pm.

Looking for more hours? At Metropolis Resort we offer the opportunity to cross-train into housekeeping or various other areas throughout the resort. This not only provides more hours but you also gain valuable experience in other areas.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in various areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, and back-of-house areas. This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and replenishing supplies as necessary.
• Help clean Action City/Chaos dining rooms and bathrooms as needed.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers and dryers.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures.
• Work closely with other hotel staff to ensure efficient operations and a positive guest experience.
• Be willing to work in various areas of the hotel, including different shifts and weekends, based on operational needs.
