Are you currently enrolled in an Engineering program at a university or technical college? Are you looking for a summer internship? Join us! The City of Eau Claire is accepting applications from engineering students for two engineering intern positions. The two available positions will be three-month internships for the summer of 2026. The interns will be exposed to all aspects of municipal engineering including pavement inspection, plan interpretation, street construction, and more!

Requirements: 

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering program or a related field at a university or technical college.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Be at least 18 years of age

Typical schedule: Hours vary, Monday-Friday, 7am – 7pm depending on contractor schedules, with overtime as required.

Wage range: $20.04 to $20.74 per hour, depending on the successful applicant's year in school.
