Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Pin Club is redefining how golfers practice, improve, and experience the game. We're building a premium indoor golf club featuring private memberships, state-of-the-art simulator technology, professional instruction, and a connected retail experience. We're looking for an experienced Director of Golf Operations to lead our team and help grow one of the most innovative golf concepts in the country.

What You'll Do

Golf Operations & Programming

  • Help develop, organize, promote, and operate Pin Club leagues, tournaments, competitions, and other golf programming.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable golf resource for members, guests, and staff.
  • Work collaboratively with Pin Club instructors and other golf professionals.
  • Help create programming that appeals to golfers of different skill levels and backgrounds.
  • Identify new opportunities for leagues, tournaments, competitions, events, and player-development programming.
  • Help ensure Pin Club's golf experience maintains credibility with experienced golfers while remaining welcoming to newer players.

Member & Customer Experience

  • Build relationships with Pin Club members and help develop a strong membership community.
  • Assist with membership sales, facility tours, new-member onboarding, and retention.
  • Help customers understand Pin Club's simulators, practice tools, memberships, programming, and services.
  • Provide a consistently welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable customer experience.
  • Assist with guest check-in, simulator reservations, and customer questions.
  • Help resolve customer and member concerns professionally.
  • Support member-only events and other community-building initiatives.

Facility Operations

  • Assist the General Manager with daily facility operations.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, professional, and first-class facility.
  • Assist with opening, closing, security, and facility procedures.
  • Help troubleshoot basic simulator and technology issues.
  • Assist with retail operations and golf-related product knowledge.
  • Support corporate events, private events, fundraisers, tournaments, and other programming.
  • Monitor the facility and proactively address operational needs.
  • Serve as the facility leader when the General Manager is unavailable.

Staff Leadership

  • Help train, supervise, and support part-time employees.
  • Model Pin Club's customer-service and facility standards.
  • Help employees develop their golf, customer-service, membership, and operational knowledge.
  • Provide coaching and feedback when appropriate.
  • Help create a team environment built around accountability, professionalism, customer service, and enjoyment of the game.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Strong background in and understanding of golf
  • Knowledge of golf culture, etiquette, terminology, and the golfer experience
  • Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to communicate comfortably with golfers ranging from beginners to highly experienced players
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
  • Comfortable discussing memberships and services with prospective customers
  • Comfortable learning golf simulator technology, reservation systems, POS systems, and other business technology
  • Reliable and professional work history
  • Willingness to participate in all aspects of facility operations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as business needs require

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be especially valuable:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sport Management, Business, Recreation, Hospitality, Golf Management, or a related field
  • Golf-industry experience
  • Golf course or pro-shop operations
  • Country club operations
  • Indoor golf or simulator facilities
  • Golf leagues or tournament administration
  • Golf instruction or player development
  • Golf retail
  • Membership sales or retention
  • Event planning and execution
  • Hospitality or recreation
  • Supervisory or management experience
  • Membership-based businesses

PGA-related education, experience, or credentials are welcome but not required.
