POSITION – CNC Machine Operator
JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – Weekend Shift (6am-4:30pm, Mon-Thurs), 2nd Shift (4:15pm-2:45am, Mon-Thurs)
STARTING PAY – $17 to $20.35/hour or more DOE

EDUCATION– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1 to 3 years related experience in a metal fabrication setting is preferred; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The CNC Machine Operator I is responsible for operating machines based on program instructions and product specifications to produce small to medium-sized components. These components may be finished products or parts of larger assemblies to be completed in subsequent stages of production.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines to manufacture production parts and assemblies.
Position parts in designated locations using a variety of fastening tools and devices.
Use hand tools, power tools, and/or pneumatic tools as required for the job.
Operate lifting equipment as needed to handle materials and components.
Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure part accuracy and quality.
Verify the accuracy of finished products or batch inspections, as necessary.
Report defective materials, discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, or non-compliant products to the Department Lead.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure equipment is properly cared for, adhering to safety guidelines.
Complete all required documentation, including in-process reports or carbon copy production sheets.
Qualifications
Proven ability to operate various hand tools, understand mechanical processes, and possess knowledge of electronics and basic hydraulics.
Proficient in performing basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals across different units of measurement.
Capable of reading and interpreting documents such as safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, repair manuals, and procedural documentation.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently throughout your shift.
