2nd Shift Assembly Operator

POSITION – Assembly Operator I
JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday, 4:15pm-2:45am)
STARTING PAY – $16-17/hr or more (Depends on Experience)

EDUCATION– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1 year previous work in a manufacturing setting is desired but not required, prefer work in injection molding or other assembly
As an Assembly Operator you will assemble work-in-progress parts into finished products using various methods such as sonic welding, heat staking, and gluing.
Responsibilities
Inspect, label, mill, route, punch, sand, assemble, and package plastic parts.
Record production and scrap data on daily sheets, including labels, production tags, and hourly rate logs.
Report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
Maintain a safe work environment and comply with OSHA standards.
Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or management.
Qualifications
No previous experience is necessary.
Basic communication skills, both oral and written.
Basic math skills.
Take and retain direction well.
Previous experience in injection molding or manufacturing assemblies is preferred but not required
