Eau Claire Axemen Announce Upcoming Tryouts and Youth Camps 

Eau Claire, WI – December 12th, 2024 – The Eau Claire Axemen are excited to announce their upcoming player tryouts and youth football camps. These events mark an exciting opportunity for both aspiring professional players and young athletes to engage with the team and the growing sport of indoor football. 

Player Tryouts The Eau Claire Axemen will be hosting open tryouts for athletes seeking a chance to join the team for the inaugural Arena League season. The tryouts are open to players aged 21 and older who have completed high school and are eager to showcase their skills on the indoor field. 

● Date: January 18th, 2025 

● Time: 4:00pm-6:00pm 

● Location: Valley Sports Academy

● Registration Fee: $75 

Participants should come prepared with proper athletic attire, including turf shoes or sneakers suitable for indoor surfaces. All attendees will be evaluated on their speed, agility, strength, and football-specific skills. Youth Football Camps The Axemen are equally committed to inspiring the next generation of football stars. The team’s youth camps provide a fun and educational experience for kids interested in learning more about football and improving their skills. Led by the coaching staff, the camps are designed for boys and girls aged 8-13 of all skill levels.

● Time: Offense: 10:00am-11:30am / Defense: 12:00pm-1:30pm 

● Location: Valley Sports Academy

Cost: $30 per session 

Camp participants will receive hands-on instruction in key football fundamentals, including passing, catching, running, and defensive techniques. Each camper will also take home an Axemen-branded t-shirt and have the chance to meet head coach Tae Brooks.
