$2,000 Awarded to Workforce Resource to Assist Unemployed / Underemployed

Prevail Bank believes that access to employment, education, training, and support services is essential to helping underemployed and unemployed individuals succeed. In alignment with that mission, Prevail Bank donated $2,000 to Workforce Resource Inc. which will be used to provide additional support to individuals served through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant. Workforce Resource serves WIOA eligible participants in West Central Wisconsin, a 9-county region stretching from Barron County in the north, to Clark County in the east, and St. Croix County in the west.

Kyle Deming, WIOA Program Coordinator (second from the left in the picture) accepted the check surrounded by Prevail Bank professionals.

Workforce Resource is one of 29 nonprofit organizations that received funding through Prevail Bank’s Charitable Contributions Program this spring. In total, $82,500 was awarded to nonprofits that support low-to-moderate income households, strengthen local economies, promote financial literacy, and enhance quality of life for underserved populations in the communities Prevail Bank serves.
