Join us for our next YP Professional Development Beer with a Boss series event - Monday May 8th!
We'll be hosting leaders from the Chippewa Valley in candid, laid back conversations over a beer. These leaders will share their personal success stories, challenges they've overcome, and valuable advice they have for you as a young professional. A moderated discussion with the guest will kick off the event with time for Q & A from attendees.
Location - Leinenkugel's Lodge: We'll be hosting this event in person at the Leinie's Lodge Pilot Meeting Room in Chippewa Falls! Each attendee will receive two drink tickets to use on a variety of Leinenkugel's beer (regular & light) & soda/water. No additional charge for drinks, it's included in the cost to attend!
More about our Guest: Tony Bugher
Tony Bugher is the President of the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company. He was born in Eau Claire, WI and is the youngest son of Mark and Kate Bugher (Leinenkugel). His mother is a 5th generation Leinenkugel family member and was the brewery’s first ever tour guide in 1967. Tony earned his BBA from Edgewood College and MBA from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. During his college years, Tony worked at the brewery in bottling and also at the hospitality center. He began his career at TDS Telecom (Madison, WI) in 2001 and worked in various sales and marketing roles which moved he and his family to Hattiesburg, MS and then Nashville, TN. In 2014, Tony’s uncle and former brewery President, Dick Leinenkugel encouraged him to join the beer business. Shortly after, Tony was hired by MillerCoors as Craft & Import Development Manager in Dallas, TX. Following, Tony was promoted to Field Marketing Manager in Atlanta, GA then Sr. Distributor Sales Executive back in Dallas, TX. In early 2022, Dick Leinenkugel announced his plan to retire at the end of the year. Subsequently, the company announced the succession plan to transition leadership to Tony. Under Tony’s strategic vision, the brewery will continue to innovate, accelerate and modernize. Tony has a wife of 17 years, Jenny and son Rhett (8 years old). Together, they enjoy traveling to the beach or by RV, attending baseball games, spending time with family and generally being outdoors.
