Join us for our next YP Professional Development Beer with a Boss series event - Featuring Monica Obrycki, CEO at Eau Claire Energy Cooperative.

Event Info: Throughout the year, YPCV hosts leaders from the Chippewa Valley in candid, laid-back conversations over a beer. These leaders will share their personal success stories, challenges they've overcome, and valuable advice they have for you as a young professional. A moderated discussion with the guest will kick off the event, with time for Q & A from attendees.

More about our guest: Monica Obrycki joined Eau Claire Energy Cooperative as an Administrative Assistant in January of 2013. While raising a family, working full time, and advancing to the role of Chief Administrative Officer, Monica attended Lakeland University and obtained her bachelor’s degree in business management in 2021 before being named Chief Executive Officer of ECEC in May 2022.

Though born in Ashland, Wisconsin, Monica and her husband, Travis, have called the Eau Claire area home for the past 26 years. Monica is very passionate for and active in the community, serving on Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce, Chippewa Valley Technical College, and Wisconsin Electric Cooperative Association boards, among others.

Amidst her busy schedule, Monica enjoys spending time with her now adult children, Payton and Molly, golfing, reading, watching hockey, and camping – although her version is more like glamping.
