Join us for our next YP Professional Development Beer with a Boss series event - Featuring Brit Heymans, Development Director at Feed My People Food Bank!

Event Info: Throughout the year, YPCV hosts leaders from the Chippewa Valley in candid, laid-back conversations over a beer. These leaders will share their personal success stories, challenges they've overcome, and valuable advice they have for you as a young professional. A moderated discussion with the guest will kick off the event, with time for Q & A from attendees. 

Location - Feed My People Food Bank - Feel free to arrive shortly after 3:45 p.m. to grab your drink and connect with other YP members. 

More about our guest: Brit Heymans is the Development Director at Feed My People Food Bank, where she leads efforts to engage the community in supporting the organization’s mission to end hunger in west central Wisconsin. She began her career in nonprofit fundraising with Marshfield Clinic Health System, where she served as a Foundation Coordinator and Gift Officer before moving to Feed My People in 2022. 

A proud graduate of UWEC, Brit remains deeply involved in the community. She has served on several boards, including the UW–Eau Claire Alumni Board, Family Support Center, and Young Professionals. Brit is passionate about giving back, building relationships, and helping others see the impact they can make when they come together.
