Still I rise: A Black History Journey Through the Arts

Still I rise: A Black History journey through the arts is a banquet style event which with feature music, poetry, dialogue, a catered meal and more. Guests will learn about the Black lived experience and how art has been used as a platform to educate, heal and empower. The event is free and open to the public however registration is required: https://uwec.universitytickets.com/w/event.aspx?id=1899 The event will take place on February 15th from 540pm - 730pm (doors open at 5pm) in the Dakota Ballroom at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire.
