Eggs & Issues: Tackling our Childcare Challenges - REGISTER AT DOOR
Friday, May 20, 2022 (7:00 AM - 8:30 AM) (CDT)
Child care has been increasingly cited as one of the most difficult workforce challenges for parents and employers in today's economy. At this edition of Eggs & Issues, we'll learn more about the local Chippewa Valley Child Care Task Force as it works to understand the scope of the problem, define the core issues, and identify potential innovations and policy changes needed to move towards solutions. Our guests include the Chair of the Task Force, Andy Neborak, Executive Director, United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley; Renee Ernsting, Director of the Child Care Partnership at Western Dairyland; and Kimber Liedl, Business Engagement Director, Wisconsin Early Childhood Association.
In person at the Pablo Center: Registration includes a hot breakfast. (As of March 12, 2022, Pablo Center lifted its COVID-19 Visitor Protocols. Guests will no longer be required to show proof of negative test or proof of vaccination.)
Remote Live Stream: Registration includes access to the remote live stream of the event via Perigon. You will receive a login link via email about 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 19.
Registration deadline is Thursday, May 19, at 12:00 noon.
The program will be recorded. A link will be sent to all registrants when the recording becomes available. If you can't participate in person or join the live stream, register anyway and you'll receive the recording link once it's available.
