Eggs & Issues: Housing Our Neighbors, One Year Later

One year after the Housing Our Neighbors Planning Collaborative shared its community plan to address homelessness in Eau Claire, Eggs & Issues will revisit the effort to hear what has happened since.

The Collaborative brought together the City of Eau Claire, Eau Claire County, service providers, community organizations and other partners around six strategies aimed at making homelessness rare, brief and non-recurring. This conversation will look at how those strategies have moved from planning to implementation, progress made over the past year, challenges that remain, and what comes next.

The event will take place in the Casper Conference Center at CVTC's Business Education Center, 620 W. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire 54701. Enter through the front doors. A limited number of spaces are available in the RCU Visitor Lot (P1 on the map). If that is full, park in the student parking (P3) across the footbridge. Permits for those lots will not be required before 9:30 a.m. that day. There is also a paid parking lot (P7) off University Drive to the east of the building.
