Madison: Best Western Premier Park Hotel and Wisconsin State Capitol

This annual event is organized by the Chippewa Valley Chamber Alliance, representing the Chippewa Falls, Menomonie, and Eau Claire Chambers of Commerce. It's a unique opportunity to bring a collective voice on regional and state economic priorities to Madison all at one time.

How it works: You'll be part of a team of several dozen area business and community leaders traveling to Madison for small group meetings at legislative offices, a luncheon, informal discussions with lawmakers and staff, and networking with others from the area who are interested in state government policy. And don't worry if you've never participated before. Our legislative office meetings will be led by experienced previous participants.

Critical economic issues: At the Rally, we'll deliver to policymakers a shared consensus on issues important to the economy of the Chippewa Valley. This year's trip will be important to strengthen relationships with legislators, express thanks for recent accomplishments, and spotlight issues that still need attention. Some of the highlights for 2026 include:
   Thanks for several accomplishments, including the budget compromise on childcare; income tax cuts; tourism funding for outdoor recreation; funding for local mental health services, youth apprenticeship, and talent attraction initiatives; bonding for the UW-Stout Recreation Complex; and the recently-approved safety study for US 53. We'll weigh in on several pending bills expected to see action before adjournment, including those related to housing, tax increment financing, healthcare, EMS services, PFAS remediation, and energy.

Optional same day round trip bus transportation from Eau Claire is available for a nominal extra charge, which you can sign up for when you register. Boarding will be 6:00-6:15 a.m. at the clinic lobby at the CVTC Health Education Center, 617 W. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire. When you sign up for bus transportation, you'll receive information later about parking and boarding.
