We have positions open on 2nd shift in Chippewa Falls performing Technical Assembly work.

 

POSITION – Technical Assembly Specialist

JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 2nd Shift (Mon-Thurs 4:30pm-3:00am)

STARTING PAY – $17/hr Depending on experience

EDUCATION– HS Diploma or Equivalent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1 to 3 years related manufacturing experience preferred; preference to prior metal fabrication

 

Responsibilities

Ensure fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance of assembly components and sub-assemblies and ensure compliance with design requirements.

Prepare and use fixtures to aid in locating, bonding, or drilling aircraft parts.

Read, interpret and follow detailed blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products.

Complete all paperwork required including, clocking in/out of jobs and issuing components/hardware through the and ERP.

Utilize hand and pneumatic tools safely to install and remove temporary fasteners, countersink holes, deburr parts, rivet parts, install and torque bolts/nuts.

Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Supervisor.

Pack parts for shipping.

Perform inspection checks per quality documentation and control plan; document results.

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

1 to 3 years related experience in a metal fabrication setting; training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Ability to read and interpret prints and work orders

Possess a combination of dexterity and mechanical skills with the ability to determine and decipher instruction and communication.
