
Sales Account Manager
SUMMARY: Maintain relationships with prospective and current customers to promote and sell SaveGuard products. Assist customers with all terms of a sale during the sale and after the sale. Work with SaveGuard employees globally on product research and development, delivery and installation of product and sales forecasting.

1. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
2. Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
3. Assist customers in computing savings from new services and products.
4. Select or assist customers in selecting products based on customer needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
5. Train customers’ employees in understanding the technical properties of SaveGuard products.
6. Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
7. Consult with customers after sales order to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
8. Prepare quotations that meet specific customer needs and discuss final pricing offer with management before presenting to customer.
9. Negotiate prices and terms of sale with customers.
10. Prior to accepting new business, discuss the project with management prior to acceptance of new business award.
11. Provide customers with product samples, data sheets and other documents.
12. Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations, attending trade shows and conferences or by using other means.
13. Represent company at trade association shows to promote products.
14. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
15. Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.
16. Travel frequently to current customer and prospective customer locations to meet customer representatives in person and discuss topics as described above.
17. Follow all safety precautions and use protective equipment as required when on-site at SaveGuard locations and customer locations.
18. Perform any other duties as assigned.
19. Maintain a supportive and positive personal attitude and working relationship with team members.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
A bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of related experience; or five to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in Insulation and Automotive, Aerospace, or Marine industries are highly preferred. The ability to travel using common forms of transportation (e.g. car, airplane, etc.) is required as frequent travel within North America is expected with this role. Occasional travel to Europe is expected.
