We have a position open on 2nd shift in Chippewa Falls working as a Press Brake Operator. Only work 4-days per week and enjoy 3-day weekends!

 

POSITION – Press Brake Operator

JOB LOCATION – Chippewa Falls, WI

STARTING DATE – Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – Weekend Shift (5:45am-6:15pm, Fri-Sun)

STARTING PAY – $19.04/hr to $22.00/hour DOE

EDUCATION– High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 1 to 3 years related experience in a metal fabrication setting; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

The Press Brake Operator is responsible to complete set-up and operation of metal bending machines (Press Brake) in accordance with quality/quantity standards based on blue prints.

 

Responsibilities

Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.

Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.

Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.

Perform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control plan (including documentation of results).

Identify different types of material – Aluminum, 5000 series Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Paint Grip, Galvanneal, and Galvanized.

Uphold our efficiency standard

Learn and demonstrate continuous improvement for AL Safety and Quality standards and procedures

Assist in other work areas as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

1-3 years prior fabrication experience and/or related experience or training

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Attention to detail and quality

Able to lift 25 pounds regularly

Excellent communicator and are self-motivated and driven
