POSITION – Mechanical Assembler
JOB LOCATION – Eau Claire, Wisconsin
STARTING DATE – Immediately
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (5am-3:30pm Mon-Thurs + OT Friday when needed)
STARTING PAY – $21/hour or more DOE

REQUIRED EDUCATION – HS Diploma/GED or equivalent required
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Past construction/technical assembly experience desired with ability to read blueprints and schematics, prior soldering experience is a plus
The Mechanical Assembler is role is essential in manufacturing operations, concentrating on assembling mechanical parts, pieces, or products. It demands meticulous attention to detail and a thorough comprehension of assembly instructions and blueprints to guarantee that each component is accurately constructed and assembled, upholding high-quality standards.
Duties:
Read and interpret diagrams drawings, and prints.
Assemble mechanical components such as bearings, shafts, and hardware according to design specifications.
Install electrical components, including circuit boards, digital displays, and sensors, into main assemblies per design requirements.
Follow work instructions to construct mechanical and electrical assemblies.
Assess the quality of parts and materials used in production.
Track inventory of parts and tools used in the assembly process.
Perform basic troubleshooting.
Conduct in-process inspections.
Test finished products for defects.
Oversee factory acceptance testing of equipment.
Clean and maintain work areas.
Work hours required to meet company demand.
Train and support others as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent education.
Strong aptitude in mechanical and electrical tasks.
Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Experience in installing mechanical components, adhering to schematics, and conducting basic troubleshooting.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a collaborative team member.
Committed to adhering to all company policies, including strict safety procedures.
Eager to learn, understand, and support the company’s quality goals.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance, effectively planning, organizing, and executing tasks.
Capable of lifting and moving 50 pounds unassisted.
Soldering experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Flexible and adaptable, able to thrive under pressure and in dynamic environments.
Willing and able to wear necessary personal protective equipment for job duties; this includes a respirator if you are in the paint booth.
Open to cross-training as needed.
