Do you have project management or inspections experience? Join us! The Housing Authority of the City of Eau Claire is seeking a full-time Housing Inspector/Section 3 Specialist. This position is responsible for Housing Authority Move-Out inspections. Additionally, this position is responsible for monitoring compliance with Federal regulations for all Federally funded projects undertaken by the Housing Authority, including, but not limited to:

Section 3

Requests for Environmental Reviews

Procurement of contracts for physical improvement projects

Davis-Bacon wage requirements

Inspections for the Housing Authority and CDBG/HOME programs.

Requirements:

Must possess or obtain (within 30 days of hire) and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Certifications in the new inspections protocol required within six months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications: 

A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience in construction/project management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
