The Board of Directors of Eau Claire Energy Cooperative is pleased to announce the appointment of Monica Obrycki as the Cooperative's next Chief Executive Officer. She will succeed Lynn Thompson who is retiring in May after serving as CEO since 2009.

Obrycki joined the senior management team of the Cooperative over nine years ago. She has demonstrated strong leadership as the Chief Administrative Officer overseeing Marketing, Communications, Human Resources and Member Services. She holds a BA in Business Management and is a recent graduate of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Management Internship Program.

Actively involved in the community, Obrycki serves on the Eau Claire Area Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors and is the Chair of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce Workforce Committee. She is a member of the Chippewa Valley Society for Human Resource Management and volunteers regularly for area non-profits.
