LEC & YLEC Committee Interest Application

Please complete all sections of this application as thoroughly as possible. The information provided will help the Leadership Eau Claire (LEC) and Youth Leadership Eau Claire (YLEC) leadership teams thoughtfully determine volunteer placements based on interests, experience, availability, and program needs.

Applicants may express interest in serving in one or more leadership roles, including:

• Executive Team
• Program Day Chair / Co-Chair
• “Where Needed Most” Volunteer Support

Before You Begin

Please be prepared to provide:

• Contact and professional information
• Current Chamber Investor organization
• Leadership and volunteer experience
• Areas of interest and preferred program involvement
• Availability and anticipated level of commitment
• A brief explanation of why you are interested in serving

Important Information

Requirement: Applicants must be employed by or affiliated with a current Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce Investor and maintain that affiliation throughout their term of service. Chamber Investor status can be checked here.

• Executive Team and Program Day Chair/Co-Chair roles require collaboration, communication, planning, and active participation throughout the program year.
• In-person attendance at meetings and program days is strongly encouraged whenever possible.
• Submission of an application does not guarantee placement or placement in a preferred role. Selections will be made based on program needs, interests, experience, availability, and overall team balance.
• Applicants may be contacted for a follow-up conversation before final placements are confirmed.
